Our office has multiple ways to directly help destination attractions, destination businesses, and destination events in Crawford County, Kansas.
Cooperative Marketing Grant
We want to help show off your attraction, business, or event. If you already have a marketing budget or want to try something different, let us help you offset some of your costs to expand your reach. For details and for the request form, visit Request For Support.
Shared Calendar
To help travelers, residents, and event planners learn about events before they happen, our calendar system pulls events from several existing calendars, including the City of Pittsburg, Kansas Crossing Casino, the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, and Pittsburg State University. Plus, these and other events submitted are fed to the calendars on several local media websites, including The Morning Sun, Hometown Girard, The Joplin Globe, KOAM/Fox 14, and KODE/KSNF.
If you do not see an event listed, you only have to submit it one time. If approved, it will feed out to the appropriate calendars.
Special Event Sponsorships
We want travelers to have a reason to visit our region. We are always looking for events to help promote, whether it is an annual festival, a conference, a youth sporting event, or something else. For details and for the request form, visit Request For Support.
