Crawford County Community Event Sponsorship
For events that both (1) increase awareness of Crawford County, Kansas as a destination for visitors; and, (2) targets both residents and visitors to Crawford County. Must be submitted 90 days prior to the event.

AARP Community Challenge
Provides small grants to fund “quick-action” projects that can help communities become more livable for people of all ages. Applications are accepted for projects to improve housing, transportation, public space, technology, civic engagement and more — all while keeping communities safe and healthy during the global coronavirus pandemic.
Applications due: May 15 (in 2020)
Grantees announced publicly: August 20 (in 2020)
Projects must be completed: December 18 (in 2020)

Arts Integration Program
Supports the role the arts play in all levels of education, community service, and workforce development. Grants awarded for Visiting Artists, Integrated Arts Education, and Innovative Partnerships.

Provide assistance in the development of new tourism attractions or the enhancement of existing attractions within the State.

Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas
Funds projects throughout the region for projects in arts and culture, children and youth activities, and more.

Crawford County Tourism Development Fund (TDF)
Provides funding for the development and/or enhancement of attractions that both (1) have substantial potential to generate overnight visitations, and (2) will increase the economic impact of tourism in Crawford County, Kansas.

Project must be leveraged with at least 75% of total expenditures coming from other funding sources.

Applications may be submitted anytime during the year, but (1) must be received at least two weeks before the next scheduled CVB advisory Board meeting (held the 2nd Wednesday of every other month unless otherwise posted), and (2) must be received at least 120 days prior to the start of the scheduled projection initiation date.

Humanities For All
Overseen by Humanities Kansas, these grants focus on creative and innovative projects that draw on history, literature, and culture to engage the public with stories that spark conversations. Grant rounds are held in both Summer and Fall. Mini Grants may be submitted at any time.

Kansas Heritage Trust Fund
Provides matching funds for the preservation of properties listed in the National Register of Historic Places or the Register of Historic Places.

Kansas PRIDE Program
Serves communities across the state to encourage and assist local government and local volunteers in making their community a better place to live and work, helping them to identify what they would like to preserve, create, or improve for their future. Partnership of K-State Research and Extension, the Kansas Department of Commerce, Kansas Masons, and Kansas PRIDE, Inc.

Kansas Rural Preservation
Provide grants to owners of historic properties in rural Kansas communities. Properties must be listed in the National Register of Historic Places individually or as a contributing property in a National Register listed historic district or properties determined eligible for listing may benefit from this grant; and, must be within a community with a population of less than 30,000 and provide justification of their rural location.

Pritchett Trust
Supports initiatives that improve the quality of life in Crawford County and Southeast Kansas. Named after William and Athlyn Pritchett, since 1994 more than $9 million has been awarded to area non-profits, schools, and service organizations. Managed by BMO Trust and Custody Services, a part of BMO Global Asset Management.

Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission: CARES Act Revolving Loan Fund
A loan fund available for private enterprises, public and non-profit small business with the goal to help alleviate sudden and severe economic dislocation caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, to provide permanent resources to support economic resiliency, and to further the long term economic adjustment objectives of the region served by the SEKRPC.

Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission: Community Development Block Grant Commercial Rehabilitation
The purpose of the CDBG Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation Program grants is to help cities improve the quality of their downtown commercial districts by assisting private property owners in the rehabilitation of blighted structures.

Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission: Revolving Loan Fund
A loan fund available  for private enterprises, public and non-profit small business located within the 12 county region in which the SEKRPC serves.

Strategic Investment Program
Recognizing the role individual artists and creative organizations play in cultural programming, these funds can be used for Organizational Development, New & Expanded Works, or Equipment & Technology.
