Sunshine and sound waves – Music on the Patio held weekly
From the sound of waves to the sound of music, the weekly event is free to attend for park users and the local community. The series at the Lake View Cafe, 2 W. Lake Rd. features musicians from across the Four-State area.
Record number of students complete high school culinary program
This year, 20 seniors have completed the culinary program at Pittsburg High School. Three of the 20 students signed with Ozarks Technical Community College, Thursday, to pursue a career in restaurant and hospitality management.

As the area celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary and Pittsburg’s 150th, Miners Hall Museum has created three commemorative ledgers that will be placed in a vault at the end of 2026 to be opened in the future — like a time capsule.
