Record number of students complete high school culinary program
This year, 20 seniors have completed the culinary program at Pittsburg High School. Three of the 20 students signed with Ozarks Technical Community College, Thursday, to pursue a career in restaurant and hospitality management.

Since Harry’s in downtown Pittsburg closed abruptly at the end December, a good deal of local coffee talk has been around what will follow in this iconic space. This week, representatives of Kazoku Sushi & Hibachi, a Japanese restaurant at 1618 S. Broadway, said that will be their new home.
