December 18 is International Migrants Day. The Crawford County we enjoy today wouldn’t have existed without our international migrants. Immigrant Park, dedicated to the immigrants who settled in Southeast Kansas, was built where the old Frisco Depot and Europe Hotel were located in Downtown Pittsburg. A mural located at the park depicts what the area looked like at the turn of the century.
