Students in Spanish Club and the advisors of Pitt State Hispanics of Today are collaborating with community members to plan two celebrations for Day of the Dead, or Dia de Muertos, on Sunday, Nov. 3. The public is invited to both.

Join us for an unforgettable homecoming celebration, “Gorilla of the Century,” filled with regal crowning of royalty, thrilling Gorilla football action, a vibrant parade, fierce student club competitions, and heartwarming alumni reunions.

Sure, Pittsburg State is the only university in the nation with a Gorilla mascot. But Pitt State has another bragging right: many academic programs and partnerships also are unique.

Members of the community are once again invited to travel the world in one exciting night at Pittsburg State University on Friday, Sept. 27, from 6 to 9 p.m.
