Background: More than 15 years of experience in marketing and public relations in the non-profit, private, and government sectors. Previously held the position of Community Development Specialist and Public Information Manager for the City of Pittsburg, Marketing Account Executive for Freeman Health System, Community Relations Manager for Mosaic in Southeast Kansas, and Public Relations and Marketing Director for the Colonial Fox Theatre Foundation.
Graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Technology with a commercial graphics major.
A Kansas native, growing up primarly in Overbrook, Kansas.

Currently serves as President of Celebrate Pittsburg.

Background: More than 25 years in media – DJ for KKOW AM & FM, web/social producer for KOAM TV/Fox 14 TV, reporter for Columbus Daily Advocate (evening newspaper at the time), and publicity and community outreach for USD 247 Southeast-Cherokee.
A Pittsburg State University graduate – Bachelor of General Studies (2005) and Master of Arts in Communication (2006).
A Pittsburg, Kansas area native.

Currently serves as Treasurer of Southeast Kansas Tourism Region.
