PITTSBURG, KS — The Pittsburg Arts Council (PAC) is thrilled to announce the continuation of our Second Saturday initiative, a monthly community event aimed at fostering creativity, supporting local artists, and bringing together the entire Pittsburg community to celebrate the arts.
The second event in this exciting series hosted by PAC, “The Craft of Art” (Visual Artists) an Artist Talk, will take place on September 9th, 2023, at TOAST, located in Downtown Pittsburg, KS at 401 N Broadway Suite D. TOAST will be offering happy hour specials including $1 off wine and appetizers.
Joining Together to Celebrate Art and ArtistsThe Craft of Art (Visual Artists) An Artist Talk, attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage with visual artists, Allen Childers, Liz Darling, and Mona Rae Jurshak. These accomplished artists will be engaged in a Panel Style Interview with questions covering a wide range of topics that artists deal with as a profession and creative outlet. There will also be a Q&A session open to the public afterwards.
