PITTSBURG, KS — The Pittsburg Arts Council (PAC) is thrilled to announce the launch of Second Saturdays, a monthly community event aimed at fostering creativity, supporting local artists, and bringing together the entire Pittsburg community to celebrate the arts. The first event in this exciting series hosted by PAC, “The Craft of Art” (Authors) an Artist Talk, will take place on August 12, 2023, at TOAST, located in Downtown Pittsburg, KS at 401 N Broadway Suite D.
Joining Together to Celebrate Art and ArtistsAt “The Craft of Art” (Authors) an Artist Talk, attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage with published authors, Lori Martin, Chris Anderson, Olive Sullivan, and Casie Hermansson. These accomplished authors span various genres, including fiction, poetry, drama, and children’s writing, and they will generously share insights into their personal creative processes. The event will feature interactive discussions and a Q&A session, offering attendees an immersive experience into the world of literature and artistic expression.
